At long last, it is time to take on the Gym in Turrfield, but first off, Sonia waits at the hillside to show the geoglyph. After that is the Turrfield Gym, where I get a challenge, and if I succeed, then I can fight Milo in a battle.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

There was one Pokémon I forgot about in the previous video due to description space, and it is Goldeen, which can be obtained through fishing. Don't even bother using it, its evolved form Seaking isn't even that good, you're better off using a Gyarados instead.
Then onto Turrfield, and you do get some nice items, like the Expert Belt, which I strongly recommend getting, as this powers up super-effective moves, so if you chose Scorbunny, this is what you should equip the Expert Belt to, otherwise Corvisquire is a good option for the upcoming Gym. You can also find a Leaf Stone, which can be used to evolve Nuzleaf into Shiftry, as well as Gloom into Vileplume. Because Oddish can only be caught in the Wild Area, it's not a bad option, and Vileplume does relearn some great moves, like Giga Drain and Moonblast, and if you have the TR moves for Sludge Bomb or Sludge Wave, Vileplume is really good at this point in the game. Gloom can also evolve into Bellossom with a Sun Stone, and even though it does lose the Poison-type, Bellossom can learn Quiver Dance, so it is not a bad option to consider.
I also show the Black Glasses location in Motostoke, I didn't even know there was a narrow gap, and this is very important if you are using a Dark-type on your team.
Offscreen, I did collect some TRs from the Wild Area, and I taught Psyshock and Tri Attack to Alcremie so that it would have a varied moveset, I don't plan to use Alcremie on the final team, it might end up as a temporary party member, but then again I am rotating around team members and I want to show off some of the new Pokémon in this game, the final team will not be revealed until very late into the game.
Now onto Turrfield Gym, and the mission is to gather the Wooloo onto three different pens, sometimes the Yamper in there can cause the Wooloo to scatter, but if you defeat the trainers, the Yamper will stop, making it safer.
When you arrive at the Stadium, there is the Ball Guy who will give you a Friend Ball, so if you want to use a Pokémon that evolves through Friendship, like Woobat, this is the ball that you will need. There is also an in-game trade where you can trade a Galarian Meowth for a Kantonian Meowth, this is the only way to get a Kantonian Meowth in this game. It has high Speed when it evolves into Persian, otherwise it is just an average Pokémon, but at least this is a way to get Persian in this game.
There was also another Pokémon that I didn't go over and can only be found in the Wild Area, Bounsweet starts off really weak, and if you did get one in the Wild Area and used it since, it should have evolved into Steenee around then. In order to evolve Steenee, it has to learn the move Stomp, when fully evolved, Tsareena has very good Attack and can learn Trop Kick, but you can reteach Power Whip for a strong Grass-type move. Tsareena does learn some nice Physical moves, like High Jump Kick, Zen Headbutt, and Play Rough, so it is a good option for a Physical Grass-type.
After successfully getting 20 Wooloo through, it is time to fight the Gym Leader, and Milo is very easy, I will go over his team.
Gossifleur: Magical Leaf, Round, Rapid Spin
Eldegoss: Magical Leaf, Leafage, Round

Gossifleur is an easy opponent, it should take one hit from anything Fire, Bug or Flying-type move, and his Eldegoss is a tough foe. Milo will Dynamax his Eldegoss, and it can use Max Overgrowth, which activates Grassy Terrain, powering up Eldegoss's Grass-type moves. Here is another rule that I will add, not only can I not go over the upcoming Gym Leader's highest level Pokémon, but I have to let them Dynamax first, so I am adding some challenge in my playthrough, but at least I have some good counters. If you have a Butterfree that can Gigantamax, all of its Bug-type moves will become G-Max Befuddle, which inflicts poison, paralysis, or sleep at random, so this is a nice move to have for tough fights.
After beating Milo, he will give you a Grass Badge and you will earn the TM for Magical Leaf, this is a nice move to have if you are using a Gossifleur, other Pokémon that can learn it include Alcremie, the Ralts line, and even Sylveon can learn it, so this is a nice early-game Grass-type move, unless you got the Technical Records for Energy Ball or Grass Knot, which are really good Grass-type moves if you are using a Grass-type of some sort.
