Now that I have the badge from Turrfield, it is time to head to Route 5, and there is a Nursery which you can breed Pokémon, as well as some interesting encounters, including Minccino and Stufful, and a certain other Pokémon that got a good improvement in this game.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This does seem to be a trend, but by Professor Magnolia's lab is a Rare Candy, I didn't know there was a pathway, but would anyone even notice a pathway?
Now for Route 5, and there is a Nursery there which you can breed Pokémon to get Eggs, but there is a new mechanic in which if you have two Pokémon of the same species, and one of which has a free moveslot, it can inherit Egg moves from the other Pokémon.
One NPC there will give you a Level 1 Toxel, it is an Electric/Poison-type, and it is very weak at first, but you do get some EXP Candies, which you can use on Toxel to get it levelled up a bit. Toxel doesn't evolve until Level 30, and once it evolves, it becomes a really good Special Attacker, and from what I heard, its form depends on the Toxel's Nature, but I won't go too far with it.
Then for the encounters, Stufful is a Normal/Fighting-type with good Attack, and I recommend getting one with Fluffy, it evolves into Bewear at Level 27. For TR moves, it can get Superpower, which is a nice move to have on it. With very high Attack, this is a strong recommendation for your team if you get one with Fluffy.
Next up is Minccino, and I recommend Technician, unless you got one with Skill Link through the Max Raid Battles. If you picked up a Shiny Stone from the Wild Area, you can evolve it into Cinccino right away, and you can reteach Tail Slap, Bullet Seed, and Rock Blast, combined with Technician, they can be devastating, or if you have Skill Link, you will be ensured to hit 5 times. Cinccino has good Speed and Attack, and it is nice addition to the team.
Now for the version exclusives, in Sword, you will get Swirlix, while Shield players get Spritzee. They both evolve with the Whipped Dream and Sachet, which you can get in Motostoke Cafe if you battle there daily, although you do get a random food item there.
Swirlix evolves into Slurpuff when traded while holding a Whipped Dream, it is a Fairy-type with well rounded stats and learns some nice moves through Technical Records, like Dazzling Gleam, Thunderbolt, Surf, Psychic, and even Flamethrower. It does get Draining Kiss and Energy Ball as level up moves, and can get Cotton Guard to boost its Defense, Slurpuff is a decent Fairy-type option to consider.
Spritzee evolves into Aromatisse when traded while holding a Sachet, Aromatisse is a bulky Fairy-type with good Special Attack, but low Speed. It does get some good TR moves, like Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, and Flash Cannon. It does get Moonblast and Psychic through level up, and it is a good user of Trick Room, but it is more of a move for multi-player. Aromatisse is a good Fairy-type to use for Shield players if they have a way to trade.
Next is Wobbuffet, don't bother using it, all it can do is Counter and Mirror Coat, so it is just Pokédex filler.
Now for the big improvement, Farfetch'd has a Galarian Form, which is a Fighting-type, and it can come with a Leek, which was formerly known as a Stick, which increases Farfetch'd's critical hit ratio. If you score three critical hits in one battle, it will evolve into Sirfetch'd. When evolved, Sirfetch'd has great Attack and good Defenses, and it can relearn First Impression, a powerful Bug-type move that has priority and only works the first turn you use it. It has a wide Physical movepool, like Brick Break, Knock Off, Leaf Blade, and Brave Bird, and through TR moves, it can get Poison Jab and Throat Chop. All those Farfetch'd fans that have waited for it to get a evolution, here you go, Sirfetch'd is a great addition if you are looking for a Fighting-type.
The last overworld encounter is Drifloon, which will have Shadow Ball if caught at Level 20, so it will be good right when you get it. It does get Stockpile, which is a nice move to have. When it evolves into Drifblim, it will have massive HP and good Special Attack, Drifblim can learn some good TR moves, like Psychic, Thunderbolt, and Calm Mind. I recommend it if you are looking for a good Ghost-type option.
To spare the description space, I will go over one random encounter, the Grass/Dragon-type Applin can be found there, and it isn't that good, it does evolve, but I will go over it later in the game.
By the bridge, you fight Team Yell, and the man will give you a Rotom Bike, so this is your Bicycle in this game, and you can go lightning fast, so this is a very helpful item.
