Alola, Pokémon Trainers! It's time to make our return to the beautiful shores of Pokémon Gen 7's Alola region with the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon! We'll be venturing through the Ultra Sun side of things in this playthrough, seeing what new experiences there will be to encounter in contrast to our previous Alolan adventures through Pokémon Moon. New Trainers, new Pokémon, and more await us as we find ourselves island-hopping once again!
This series will be a mixture of pre-recorded episodes and live streams, each aiming for around an hour or so of playtime. To keep things interesting, I'm incorporating some VERY loose Nuzlockian rules into the adventure, including (but not necessarily limited to):
1) Capturing only the first Pokémon encountered in each new area.
2) Marking each Pokémon for every KO it suffers.
3) Every Z-Crystal obtained allows me to "heal" one KO marking from a chosen Pokémon.
4) Upon completion of any Trial, the Pokémon with the highest number of KO markings will be placed in the PC to be replaced by another Pokémon.
Let's see how well our new team can fare as we once again set out across the Alola region on our Island Challenge to become the Champion of the Alolan Pokémon League!
