I am using Gardevoir in this match, and this is the very first time it is part of the weekly rotation, as Gardevoir was not playable in the game when it first released, so it was added in the first update. I will list the other players as well.
Joeggernaut - Garchomp
Mrlös - Talonflame
Ines3011 - Machamp
RockyB3ar2 - Cinderace

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
ChaosChaot17 - Garchomp
mauromir - Zeraora
LORENZO18790 - Talonflame
Swissbro12 - Snorlax
ash1337 - Pikachu

As I have explained, Gardevoir is part of the weekly rotation at the time of this video being recorded, the other Pokémon part of the weekly rotation are Crustle, Cinderace, and Machamp.
Gardevoir is an Attacker, and it specializes in ranged moves, but it has a very weak start, because it starts matches off as Ralts, and its starting moves are Confusion and Teleport. Its basic attack is a ranged move, and it becomes a boosted attack every three attacks, and when it hits, it decreases the Special Defense of opposing Pokémon for a short time.
For starting moves, I would recommend going with Confusion, as that is a damage dealing move, and it attacks straight in a designated location, and the other move is Teleport, which has Ralts warp to a designated location, boosting the next basic attack used after warping.
At Level 6 is when Ralts evolves into Kirlia, and it will learn Psyshock or Future Sight, which replace Teleport. Psyshock has Kirlia attack in a designated location three times, and the cooldown is reduced for each time one of the attacks hit an opposing Pokémon, and Kirlia can move around while using it. Future Sight sets a delayed explosion, and when it hits an opposing Pokémon, it shortens the move's cooldown.
At Level 8, Kirlia will learn Psychic or Moonblast, which replace Confusion. Psychic creates a circle that deals damage to opposing Pokémon after hitting an opposing Pokémon or travelling its maximum distance, and it decreases their movement speed for a short time. Moonblast has Kirlia attack while moving back, and it deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and it leaves the opposing Pokémon closest to Kirlia unable to move, and interesting trivia, Kirlia cannot learn Moonblast in the main series games, its evolved form Gardevoir can.
At Level 10, Kirlia will evolve into Gardevoir, and its Unite Move is Fairy Singularity, which it learns at Level 10. Gardevoir warps space in a designated area, which draws in opposing Pokémon, and it shoves and deals damage to opposing Pokémon the instant the warped space disappears.
At Level 12, Psyshock or Future Sight will be upgraded, Psyshock's damage is increased when it deals damage to opposing Pokémon each time one of its attack hits, and Future Sight's cooldown will be reset when the move hits an opposing Pokémon. At Level 14, Psychic or Moonblast will be upgraded, Psychic's cooldown will be reduced, and Moonblast gives Gardevoir a shield when it is used.
Gardevoir's Ability is Synchronize, when an opponent inflicts decreased movement speed or damage-over-time condition, the same is inflicted to the opponent, and the Ability goes on cooldown when triggered.
Gardevoir is all about getting in some powerful ranged attacks, Psyshock is considered to be one of the most overpowered attacks in the game, as it can fire off three attacks, but you could combine Future Sight and Moonblast, so using Moonblast to prevent the target from moving, and follow up with Future Sight to get in some huge damage, and it will reduce the cooldown for Future Sight.
As for held items, Gardevoir works very well with Choice Specs, Wise Glasses, and Sp. Atk. Specs to power up its moves, and the Energy Amplifier to let it use its Unite Move more often, as its Unite Move draws in opposing Pokémon, and you can follow that up with Psyshock or Future Sight to take out as many opposing Pokémon as you can.
