I am using Venusaur in this match, and I test out a new Holowear that it received in Battle Pass Season 3, and this is the Sunshine Style, another Premium Holowear. Season 4 Battle Pass added a new Premium Holowear for Absol, so I might show that off once I get that. Here are the other players in this match.
matty1991 - Blissey
Jamese45 - Mamoswine
Berny2021 - Absol
Poke03man - Mr. Mime

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
Theslimeblob - Snorlax
brodie5920 - Absol
Gabri14 - Wigglytuff
xBlazex - Blastoise
The_Flash - Garchomp

The weekly rotation for this week is Gengar, Mr. Mime, Greninja, and Mamoswine, and one thing I don't even like is that if you have that Pokémon's Unite License, you can't even see the clock icon, this is notable on Greninja, which is one of the Pokémon you can get for free.
I wanted to try Venusaur's Petal Dance and Giga Drain combo for this one, I usually prefer Sludge Bomb and Solar Beam, and I have read about that set being really good, as that does help Venusaur last a bit during battle, but I haven't had the best luck with matches lately.
I find Pokémon UNITE to be very demotivating, I don't like going up against other players online, because they tend to be very protective of their goal zones, specially when they only have like 10 points left before being destroyed, and they tend to go after Drednaw or Rotom when they already have a lead over us, it's really annoying when the opposing side take Drednaw when our team needs the experience the most, and this is very notable when some Pokémon still have not evolved yet and don't get to their first evolution until Level 5, I just find that completely unfair, and while I don't like being a competitive player myself, Pokémon UNITE has too many competitive players, so it is difficult to try and play casually against those players.
I wish they would nerf CPU players and make them more manageable, because with CPU players, it is ridiculous when you make them overpowered, because before the update, they used to be jokes, but now you can't even take them on 1v1 anymore, I don't enjoy Pokémon UNITE anymore, but I do keep playing just to get the daily bonuses and other things.
As with the Venusaur that I am using in this video, it is the Sunshine Style, which is a Premium Holowear, which does add some effects to Unite Moves, Movement, KO, and many other things, and I do like the wooden house that shows up when Venusaur returns back to the base.
Venusaur works well with items like Sp. Atk Specs, Wise Glasses, and Choice Specs if you are going with the Sludge Bomb and Solar Beam set, otherwise it can go defensive with Petal Dance and Giga Drain with items like Focus Band, Buddy Barrier, and Assault Vest.
On the site that I look up best match-ups for the Pokémon, well it is based on the player, but on the site Game8, it lists the Pokémon that Venusaur has good match-ups against, for its best match-ups, it works against Pokémon with low Defense and have difficult escaping Venusaur's high mobility from Petal Dance or the long range Solar Beam, like Gardevoir, Alolan Ninetales, Greninja, Sylveon, Decidueye, Gengar, and a few others, while it does well against some All-Rounders, like Tsareena and Dragonite, if Venusaur has the Giga Drain and Petal Dance set. Venusaur's worse match-ups are against some Defenders, like Crustle and Slowbro, which have ways to deal with Venusaur's mobility, Wigglytuff has Sing, and Zeraora has some powerful moves. It has even match-ups against Pokémon that it can lure in and defeat them while their moves are on cooldown, some examples are Mr. Mime, Machamp, Charizard, Garchomp, and Talonflame, and those it can have the range advantage against, like Mamoswine, Blissey, and Greedent.
With the right moves, Venusaur can be used as either a ranged attacker or go on the defensive based on the set used, it has received some improvements throughout the updates.
