A quick look at the new Multi-Case from Aussie company Pokit Innovations, designed for their Pokit Pros and Pokit Meters.

It was advertised at $35 in their email which seemed to be a decent price as it would include 10% GST, and local shipping would be about $10 ... AU$45 all up.

However this was in USD ... switching to AUD gives a price of AU$54. You are also treated as an "international customer" when shopping on their website (they're an Australian company), so the price continues from there ... US$11.16 for shipping (from Hong Kong) and US$4.62 tax (I love paying local Aussie taxes in USD on the product AND shipping ... thanks billionaire Gerry Harvey) ... total of US$50.78 ... or almost AU$81.

Obviously this makes sense if your products are not made in Australia and you want to sell internationally, but it is disappointing being treated as a foreign customer by a company located a few hours drive south. That's just my selfish opinion. As an Aussie company you still want them to succeed internationally.

It's a decent case, it has the Pokit banding on the front and is dimensioned perfectly for three Pokit Pros.

Unfortunately it's pricey at AU$81 (and not AU$45 incl. tax & shipping). A search of "small hard case" on Aliexpress shows a lot of cheaper, generic versions that'll also do the job to varying degrees of "it's not perfect but it'll do".

But I do like it and I'm glad I have it for my Pokit so I can keep everything together. If I just want to take the Pokit Pro and a cable with me then I still have the original smaller case to use.
