[東方 Post Rock] Akane — The Most Beautiful Scenery
21Another one of those slow burners, this one I wanted to do since the second album. And once again I have to reference another Touhou arrangement here. I'm talking about Demetori's Dance of puNDarika. You ever listen to an arrangement, and think that it's just perfect? That whoever made that arrangement did it so well, hit all the right spots to such extent that you just feel like there is nothing you could possibly add to such masterpiece? This was the case for me.
For the longest time no matter how hard I tried to be original, the result was just too close to Demetori but just overall worse, because let's be real, these guys are simply unmatched in making Touhou music. Thankfully though, I managed to overcome this strange case of imposter syndrome, and did something original with this track. I like how I made it kind of chill yet intense at the same time, this type of atmosphere fits pretty nicely into the story.
