Prodeus is an FPS made in the Style of oldschool shooter. So there is no real Rock Paper Scissor principle, or a overly complicated point of critical hit system. Shoot it, it bleeds, it dies. If you shoot where the brain is, it dies faster.
The level design so far is clever and most points are crossing each other with opening new paths. So you might cross a certain section multiple times, but from new directions. To not make the level overly mazy, the dev sometimes block old paths. So even when i played a level for 15 - 25 minutes, i never got lost. This might change later, but for the first 7 levels it was a great design.
The game comes with blood, much blood. It splatters everywhere. This is like Splatoon for grown ups, even though the only color of choice is red.
