This is when Fae starts being required, so if you haven't been using her up to this point, she's just a massive liability taking up a deploy slot and hanging in the back trying not to get killed by the reinforcements that pop up all around. Which, by the way, are very annoying in this stage. This is another stage where enemy reinforcements act on the turn they appear, and just pop up in the rooms you've already cleared out unceremoniously. I had units getting killed a lot when units with Killer weapons kept showing up and critting them.

The regular enemies in the stage are pretty unique though. Almost all of them have unique weapons, some of them being the same unique weapons your own units have, like Geese's Riptide. Cool way to make the final enemies feel more unique. As we go through, we need to fight the legendary heroes that used our weapons in the past, and they all have unique sprites. It's been so long since I played FE6, I didn't actually remember that in the original FE6, ALL the enemies in this stage were Manaketes. So this stage is actually considerably different and stands out a lot more because of it. Can tell they really put in some effort to make this feel more like a proper finale.

The sprite work in general for this hack has been really impressive, they made some good looking stuff. It's a bit of a shame you'll only see them here. The female swordmaster sprite that you see Fir using is definitely one of my favorites. The knights and generals all look really badass too. Felt it was worth saying.

Jahn is the boss of this stage, a powerful Manakete. Aaaaand Roy crits him to death in one round too. These poor bosses.
