One of the main reasons Cascadia became an associate member of the Pacific Federation was because of its vast Cordium resources. Cordium is a geothermal resource which is used for military technology and even civilian technology, but it is also used as a power source. Cascadia's Cordium deposits make the nation very wealthy. Ever since the Federation started to take over Cascadia's Cordium deposits, the Federation has gotten a large Cordium supply line. Cascadia is going to sever and cripple that supply line by attacking various geothermal facilities within the country. Hitman Team has been assigned to attack the geothermal power plant at the Apodock Fracture in the Yellowstone Exclusion Zone. If the CIF successfully raids the geothermal facilities, then the amount of Cordium resources going to the Federation will be significantly reduced, crippling their war effort. During the battle, Hitman Team soon comes face to face with the Federation's elite Peacekeeper Squadron, Crimson Team.
