Ever since the Solana Communications Array was destroyed, the Cascadian Independence Force has managed to score a number of victories against the Federation military. As a result, the Federation is beginning to develop a new strategy. The Federation has decided to no longer use Cascadian citizens in their military, leaving only Federation citizens to fight in the Federation military. Now, the Federation is starting to pull some of their forces out of Cascadia to regroup and reorganize their forces. A group of military transports is flying over the Bering Strait. These transports are carrying Federation units that are returning to the Federation's core territories. The CIF has ordered their pilots from nearby CIF airbases to intercept the transports. The Federation has responded and sent reinforcements to protect the transports. Now, both sides are escalating the fight. A huge air battle is taking place over the Bering Strait, which has now become a furball. Sicario has been told to scramble their pilots to assist in the battle over the Bering Strait. Hitman Team faces one of their toughest fights, as the Crimson Squadron arrives, and Crimson 1 becomes determined to shoot down Monarch.
