The homologation imports of Japanese Grand Prix motorcycles, Racer bikes are the gold standard in performance crotch rockets. Excellent at blazing down straightaways and coasting through tight hairpins, they have the mettle required to pose a significant challenge when a seasoned rider is at the helm. However, Racers tend to struggle in the corners when you go at them full throttle, making the chances of spinning out far greater than some of the other sets. Coupled in with the insane price tag of the high performance models and it’s no wonder why only drivers with a fat wallet and nerves of steel are the lucky few who can tame them.

For Rashers with more experience, the Firecracker 250RR is an excellent means to master a more calculated driving style. Spinning out is seldom an issue, primarily because the bike loses a significant amount of speed when entering a skid. Of course, easing off of the throttle will be a critical skill to master if you want to take this set to the Finals, so it never hurts to get a head start on developing proper control techniques. However, because of the sizable cost of each future model, it leaves little margin for error when it comes to a finish position. If you want a challenging bike that can breach the higher ranks of the pack, the Firecracker 250RR is a surefire means of doing so.

P.S.: All you really need to know about a time trial with other racers is that the top two members of each gang will be in play with you. I primarily did these exhibition races solo because it makes it easier for the frame rate and (by extension) more likely to get optimal performance out of each bike on the road.
