A few years ago I got this little ampoule with this little piece of metal inside of it, and I was really excited because this little piece of metal is actually pure uranium.
Ever since then I've always wanted to free the uranium, and I've randomly decided that today is the day to crack it open, but I have to be careful. This is because once the uranium is exposed to air it reacts to form small particles of radioactive uranium oxide, which are really dangerous and not good to breathe in.
