Puss n Boots, for being a 1990 game, is awfully janky; that might be because it sat in Japan for 4 years under a different name before being released here. Supposedly, this is a more fleshed-out version, but I couldn't tell you. Puss n Boots is a very short game with three weapons and seven levels. There is nothing to see here; the game is awfully casual, that is, until the final boss, who melts you like a Kraft single in a microwave. Many better games offer a more fleshed-out casual experience. Coming to mind is Felix the Cat, or Kirby. The music in this game is pleasant, and I liked it.
