3SEGA Rally Championship PC (1997), another SEGA AM2/3 arcade engine PC port, has been brought into lifetime preservation through QEMU virtual machines. Though the pristine retail version had never got an official update for hardware 3D accelerated graphics, a rare Direct3D port was once bundled with 3Dfx Voodoos. The reason was unknown why SEGA wouldn't do it officially as they did with Daytona USA Deluxe, nevertheless Rally-Sports fans were able to retrofit the Direct3D port for retail version, bringing the bells & whistles of hardware 3D acceleration.
