QEMU Grand Prix 3 Season 2000 (EAX) (2001) -- From Install to Race in 15 Mins
~~~"NO ONE ever will be a BELIEVER in Good Old Games Preservation. Just move on and have FUNs on modern photo realistic SIM racing games on PS5, XBOXs or SteamDeck."~~~
A flashback of Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 3 and Season 2000 expansion in PERFECT preservation in pristine condition of retail originality on QEMU featuring qemu-3dfx. Absolutely NO PATCH, NO fan-made launchers or downloads and best of ALL not even the hunt for NoCD cracks from questionable websites. The Season 2000 expansion includes the final official patch 1.13 for Grand Prix 3 and it will update the game along with its own installation. Daemon Tools DRM emulation works for both games, so ALL it needs is CD images archived in ISO/CUE/BIN, and HERE WE GO, onto the F1 Grand Prix from Install to Race in 15 mins!😁
The video demonstrates WET RACE on weather conditions which absolutely requires GPU rendering. The wet tracks reflection, misty splashes behind the tires, fog and rainy droplets simply put CPU software rendering out of question. It is such a game that PCem/86Box Voodoos emulation for 90's retro gaming will forever be in the LAUGHING STOCK🤣 of "all-done-in-software". ONLY the \*STUPID & RETARDED\* could have ever glamorized such PC emulation FULL of Accuracy \*BS\* as "Super Accurate LLE" nonsense.
Several caveats disclosure on how Grand Prix 3/Season 2000 expansion are preserved:
They are BEST and HIGHEST performance on NVIDIA GPUs for either modern Windows or Linux with NVIDIA propriety blobs. Thanks to NVIDIA OpenGL consistency across modern Windows and Linux.
For Linux, GPUs with MESA drivers (Intel, AMD) have minor rendering glitches around the steering cockpit from best track guidance marking, track smokes or side rear mirrors in WineD3D deprecated ARB_programs FFP rendering path.
WineD3D default GLSL FFP rendering path fixes all rendering glitches for ALL modern GPUs on both Windows and Linux but incurs considerable frame rate hit. The hit may be less profound on desktop-class CPUs/GPUs. Grand Prix 3 is a SLOW game with game engine maxFPS at 25.6 anyway.
Grand Prix 3/Season 2000 expansion are the games that make one LAUGH🤣 in the JOKES of whatever "Trash"Boxes or "JUNK_PC"em in FULL of Accuracy \*BS\**. As *\*USELESS\* as how they emulate PC to be relevant for retro gaming, one would be told in "just use dgVoodoos on Windows 10/11". A nice & valid alternative to QEMU featuring qemu-3dfx while letting Linux folks in the cold. Then another way of just "dual-boot" with Windows or just build-your-own retro boxes. Oh Thank GOD, many alternatives out there, NO ONE ever need the \*BS\* of Games Preservation in a WORLD full of LIES.
SO BE IT. The DEVIL😈 may just put Grand Prix 3/Season 2000 on the "eXclusivity" "Donation cum eXtortion" list in the name of Games Preservation... LAUGH🤣... and🤣...🤣 in cheering for the upcoming Windows 12.
