Armed with knowledge of how the physics work and how the engine works, this is how good i am on my first game.. Watch me get owned...
I learnt the CPM physics via Xonotic, although acceleration doesnt happen just by holding 'w' key. You actually have to strafe jump or use an explosive to accelerate. Also, there's no bunny hop tool, so you can't just climb up stairs easily without losing speed, you have to buttonmash.

Turns out this guy, ProFan is currently one of australia's best quake 3 cpma players. Funnily enough, I met harry_ftw on my first game of xonotic. What a way to introduce people. Maybe I really do have a lot of badluck...

Also, although I did state in the video, quake 3 DOES NOT have unlagged, well unless you patch the server. At 2:00 that rail show should've hit, but of course demos don't show my screen, and unlagged doesnt work. Demos tracked-back everything by approx 70 msec (it's just my ping) just as tremulous/unvanquished demos do to prevent any weird things like warping in playback. I wonder how xonotic fixed this problem...
I tried to fix this by doing cl_timenudge 70 but it didn't work. I'll search it up later..

Music credits are at the end.

Info about CPM physics:
W/S key lets you change the direction you're travelling using your mouse
A/D keys works similar to TF2' buggy turn, only you need to turn smoother and there are limits to how fast you can turn. There's a few seconds before the last music is played where I showed you can do a 'surf'. Also, like in TF2, you do accelerate a teeny bit as a side effect.
WD/WA/SD/SA works like vanilla quake, where it's completely normal. They are kept so the user can strafe jump without changing directions too much.
