Blaster Tricks with GPP-1.1 Arena on rotcannon
Recenty I added bunnyhopping as well and fixed the strafe so you can also do half beat strafe jumping AND turn tight corners, but that isn't fun to document. I also fixed my weapon combo-ing to the extent which I want.
Weapon switching now starts 400msec earlier than usual if you do it while firing a gun like a shotgun or blaster, then the switch animation lasts 200 msec in total. Blaster repeat rate is now 750 msec instead of 700, this means with a hacky doubletap toggle, you can make your blaster fire within 550 msec, just enough for you to hover on a wall if you do it right. It's really tricky, not as easy as it looks.
FYI for quake players, this doesn't use overbounce, but uses fall damage since fall damage propels the user up slightly in tremulous.
I am using godmode btw, obviously. I also bound my spacebar to give stamina but oh well.
Raw Statistics:
Blaster Knockback Force: 100 damage (It's actually 8 damage with a knockback modifier)
Blaster Splash Radius: 80units (used to be 100)
Blaster projectile speed: 1400 ups (default)
Blaster Repeat rate: 750msec (1.1 700, gpp 800)
Blaster Max Ammo: 6
Blaster Ammo Regen: 1250msec (I added g_blaster_ammoregen for testing but meh)
Weapon Switch Down: 80msec
Weapon Switch Up: 120msec
Weapon Switch Time Advantage: 400msec
Physics:
Side Strafe Acceleration when under 30ups: 70
Forward/Back Air Control: 150
Bunnyhop Acceleration: 320*0.08 - 0.08(Horizontal Velocity/1000)
