Quake beta3's E4M6 contains a huge error that makes it unbeatable without cheats: defiling the first Unholy Altar will not open the door to the room containing the Silver Key. Therefore, the only way to get it is by using the noclip cheat to phase into the room.

The Spawn ambush in the large corner room appears to be delayed compared to the final game.

This map has been played in Hard difficulty in order to show off every enemy spawn that the level has.
