I bought a Radeon 6700 XT recently now the prices have come crashing down, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or return it. In the meantime, though, here's Quake II RTX with HRTF audio using OpenAL Soft [IRC_1037 tables]. I'm rather impressed that a blatant graphics showcase would go through the effort of including 3D audio support, though that's likely due to inheriting it from a previously existing source port.


Honestly, I'm more impressed BY the 3D audio effects than the rather ugly mishmash of artstyles in Quake II RTX. The 3D positional audio isn't as accurate as in Yamagi Quake II, but it's still pretty nice to listen to when you hear the Gunner's grenades bouncing and exploding all over the place.
