It's a twinstick shooter if you use a gamepad. Unfortunately the game doesn't have co-op, so is only a singleplayer experience. You can upgrade your weapons, but at each new location they go back to level zero. The gameplay loop feels repetitive as everything seems samey. The game engine has graphical issues and needs optimisation. There probably is a memory leak as well as the performance halved later in the video. Changing weapons on the gamepad is problematic, because the game spins through your weapons even though you are tapping the button once.
