Now we're getting into a bit more of the side story content with a loyalty quest for Matt Miller. Every crew member has these, and they're all pretty damn entertaining. In this case, while the game's already made it clear that it doesn't do straight up "romance" so much as just flat-out fucking, it's still funny seeing these two going on an outing together after doing the nasty with each other. Close enough to a date, right?

Though in truth, Matt's got his eyes on Asha. Given that The Boss can be a dude or a chick, the game knda keeps that aspect ambiguous as far as the story goes, so there's no canon plot points of The Boss actually hooking up with someone else .

But still, The Boss seems to be the only person who will entertain Matt's ideas and fantasies, and actually even kinda gets on board with them. Even with The Boss' mild interest in the Nytblade nativity set. They're sorta similar in that regard.

What this shows is Matt's a real nerd at heart, which I can get behind 100%. In that aspect, I see myself in him. I've written fan stories about stuff, and gone on forums discussing the thing I'm a fan of. I've done most everything short of going to actual conventions. Even cosplayed a bit for fun.

And here I can get behind the zombie holdout, the car chase, the ambush, and all of the elements introduced into this little quest. I loved hearing their interactions, with Matt geeking out and The Boss' reactions to it all. It was real fun, even without the super powers. I'd say that made it even more fun tbh.

But then of course Zinyak had to interfere and try to ruin everything, but it ultimately resulted in him gaining super powers of his own!

I think this calls for me to call him in as a Homie and test how he does with those powers...
