Where is Trudeau, we seem to be missing our Prime Minister. But alas we now have his schedule:
11:00 a.m. The Prime Minister will deliver remarks and hold a media availability. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada David Lametti, Minister of Public Safety Marco E. L. Mendicino and President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair will be in attendance.
2:00 p.m. The Prime Minister will attend Question Period
Today is day 4th-ish & the vote to decide if the Liberals over-reached.
Asking for more power or will the NDP & Greens give the Liberals the Power of Grey-skull?

Motion for confirmation of the declaration of emergency
Preamble
WHEREAS the safety and security of the individual,
the protection of the values of the body politic and
the preservation of the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the state are fundamental obligations of government;
AND WHEREAS the fulfilment of those obligations in
Canada may be seriously threatened by a national
emergency and, in order to ensure safety and security during such an emergency, the Governor in Council should be authorised, subject to the supervision of Parliament, to take special temporary measures that may not be appropriate in normal times;
AND WHEREAS the Governor in Council, in taking such special temporary measures, would be subject to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and
the Canadian Bill of Rights and must have regard to
the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, particularly with respect to those fundamental
rights that are not to be limited or abridged even in a national emergency;
Attendu :
que l’État a pour obligations primordiales d’assurer
la sécurité des individus, de protéger les valeurs du
corps politique et de garantir la souveraineté, la sécurité et l’intégrité territoriale du pays;
que l’exécution de ces obligations au Canada risque
d’être gravement compromise en situation de crise
nationale et que, pour assurer la sécurité en une telle
situation, le gouverneur en conseil devrait être habilité, sous le contrôle du Parlement, à prendre à titre
temporaire des mesures extraordinaires peut-être injustifiables en temps normal;
qu’en appliquant de pareilles mesures, le gouverneur
en conseil serait assujetti à la Charte canadienne des
droits et libertés ainsi qu’à la Déclaration canadienne
des droits et aurait à tenir compte du Pacte international relatif aux droits civils et politiques, notamment en ce qui concerne ceux des droits fondamentaux auxquels il ne saurait être porté atteinte même
dans les situations de crise nationale,
