A Puyo Puyo ported game marketed as being introduced by Alexey Pajitnov, the person behind Tetris. Interestingly, 19 years later, the two series will merge together with Puyo Puyo Tetris that came out in 2014.

Note that I am not sure whether it's because the version I have is old, or problems with it being run on Emulator - but this game as displayed is very glitchy - players familiar with Puyo Puyo mechanics will instantly notice these glitches in action.

An interesting feature this game had was the use of Crystal Puyos (one showed up in Stage 13), clearing the said Crystal Puyo will have a specific effect depending on the colour

Another interesting feature to note is its use of Up-button-to-Quickdrop ability, years before it was implemented in Puyo Puyo 7
