With all the recent efficiency, it was pretty clear the time for expansion was now. I went ahead with a good size loan and purchase Sylva, Dilsboro Engine Shop & Yard, Signals for the new section (tonight), observation car, as well as 8 pulpwood flat cars.

Scott was back this afternoon and resumed operating #2 while I was able to ferry down 8 empties from the new interchange at Sylva. Meanwhile #3 made it's innaugaral run EB to Sylva, and would pick-up the observation car at the platform. All industries have been set for Tier 3 to start out tonight and I'm looking forward to the increased traffic and opportunties.
