Rambo III (Master System) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A playthrough of Sega's 1988 light-gun shooter for the Sega Master System, Rambo III.
I used to love this game. It was easily my favorite game for the Light Phaser, and played a lot like Operation Wolf on the NES. It was just as hard too! This one was cool though because of the digitized stills of Sylvester Stallone in his super commando get-up will all sorts of cool weaponry. The game was nothing particularly revolutionary, but it's a prime example of the quality that console first-person shooting games had reached on home consoles by 1988. It's a pretty huge departure from Rambo: First Blood II on the Master System, too. It's certainly a hard game, but nothing like To the Earth in it's difficulty. It's extremely short and easy to memorize (thankfully) since it requires near total memorization to make it through to the end.
