This is the original "Girl in the Tower" song that was featured in the finale of King's Quest VI (1992). An instrumental rendition of the song's chorus is often played during "special" moments in King's Quest Chapter 3: Once Upon a Climb.

The idea of making a cheesy video with the new game's footage to the old song make me laugh, so I decided to go ahead and do it. It was actually surprisingly easy - the new King's Quest series lends itself well to the Chicago power ballad level of melodrama needed to match the cheese whiz drowning this early 90s soft-rock single.

It actually got (a very little bit) of radio air-play! Hahaha, say what you want about the old Sierra, but you can't deny that they were nothing if not absolute pioneers.
