Randomlocke: What Chaos to Expect in the New Temtem Challenge
7Earlier this week, Temtem have announced 1.3 Early Release Notes Preview, unveiling a Nuzlocke and Randomlocke Official Challenges, coming out on March 6th. This video discusses what Chaos you should expect during a Randomlocke.

Randomlocke follows Nuzlocke rules where you may only capture two tems per route, and any fainted tem will be automatically released. In the randomlocke, NPC Squads, route spawns, item boxes and techniques will all be randomised!
A hypothetical scenario: You have a fire-breathing worm (Zizare) ready to Quetza-Leno the enemy Loali. But the Loali uses Thunder Strike on Wiplump!
Due to Nuzlocke rules, the Wiplump would be lost forever. Luckily, your Zizare has Electric Custodian and therefore protects Wiplump. For that reason, custodian and synthesis traits might be more valuable in nuzlocke and randomlocke.
Mimit could be a tactical tem too, if Landing Transmog. This would allow you to gain information on the enemy's techniques without finding out the hard way.
Other strong options would be high-base state tems with neutral typings, like Venx, due to the lack of weaknesses while obtaining further coverage.
