Rare Factory K Code XY GS Panel Van
28At the WA Van State Titles 2022 when bumped into Greg about his Rare Factory K Code GS Panel Van. The vehicle is a 9 month, 1971 XY Ford Falcon GS Panel Van with rare options like a Factory K Code 351 Engine, Factory 4 speed and its a GS Model to end the trifecta. Greg explains there were plenty of Y Code (302 Engine Code) Panel Vans but very rare to have the K Code.
Greg has owned the XY Panel Van now for tens after chasing to purchase the vehicle over a number years. Once he finally got the Panel Van, its was 90% how you see it today, he just end to 10% to finish it off.
Greg and his wife own a number of show cars and regularly go to the Ford GT Nationals in the Eastern States. They put the other cars in contains and send them to the Car Show and jump in the XY Panel Van with other couples to enjoy the 4 -5 day trip before the show and then enjoy coming home the same way.
Greg was impressed by the WA Van State Titles 2022 from start to finish and well be back next year for 2023. So we will definitely see Greg and this stunning car again.
