Nic the Owner of Rewind a 1978 HZ Holden Panel Van that had a lot of Custom works was devasted by a fire that wrote off this Panel Van. Rewind had a 350 Chevy, Jag Diff and Fitech EFI that let go and caused the devastating fire that left this panel van in ruins.

Now, Nic is trying to rebuild Rewind to better than it former glory and get her back on the road where it belongs. As you will see in the fire, it ravaged the front end, interior and also most the back end oof the Panel Van.

So the plan is according to Nic to rebuild Rewind with a LS1 with a 6 speed manual gearbox and the jag diff, however he is being very private about the new interior and some of the front end requirements of the new build. He has lets us know that it will be a twin headlight HZ front end panels but that is about it. Everyone will have to wait and see the end result of the rebuild process.

Aussie Garage will be following this project, however, we will only be unveiling what Nic wants everyone to see.

Nic is the President of the West Coast Vanners Inc (WCV), which is a like minded group of people that love Van and Utes, plus share the same interests. As you will see in the video, most of the people helping Nic rebuild are from the WCV. The club offers C4C registration for members who wish to join and the club tries to have regular events throughout the year. Since forming, WCV have tripled in sizes and continue to grow without member drives or forcing people decisions.

Including the WA Van State Titles that they host every year now as part of Max Pinjarra Event. last year the event had over 42 Vans and Utes, but this year they are excepting over 50 Panel Vans and Utes in attendance.

West Coast Vanners are also highly involved in Charity events and hold regular fundraising exercises and holds an annual Vanners for Variety Toy Run every year for Variety WA and its getting bigger and better all the time.

The Rewind Project is getting completed at Voodoo Trike and Custom slowing but surely with members helping out as much as possible. Aussie Garage will keep you up to date through every stage without revealing to much.
