Another Fire Hazard Found - Rewind Project Episode 2
79In this Episode of the Rewind Project we discover another Fire Hazard waiting to happen due to bad wiring at the back of van as part of the stripe down process. The wiring was sitting on the Panel Van Tray uninsulated with bad joins and exposed wires in some locations. it then had felt glued over the top and then a shape MDF board over the top which the mattress sat on. This in itself could had lead fire in the Van, as it was the Panel Vans Tail Lights were always shorting out, blowing bulbs and turning on the reversing lamps.
Also Nic gets a replacement roof from a Panel Van found in the bush to replace the area of Rewinds Roof where the sunroof was. The van roof piece was found on a van that was under water all most up to the roof. They still had a long way to go but they are getting there slowly.
The will be parts for the project we can not show until the Van is unveiled finished as per Nic's request, however, we will give as much as possible.
