Here's my RAC 3: UYA Any% PB, done in November 2016. This run is significant not only because this used to be my main speedgame but this also marks the one time that I had a WR in this game. At the time, Xem was an unstoppable beast and this was the first time someone took him down since mid 2015, as well as the only time I overtook him. It was extremely exciting because I had been fighting an uphill battle against Xem in NG+ for a long time to no avail and this was the one time I beat the odds. The only reason I got WR was because this category was very unoptimized at the time. Any% was unanimously hated and nobody wanted to take the time to seriously grind the category. This run was bad, even back then but due to the circumstances, this became a WR.

The WR only lasted for a day with Xem taking back the WR the next day. I remember being extremely annoyed about this since I was a lot younger back then and I worked so hard to achieve something, just to have it immediately taken away. But regardless, this was the one time I managed to escape being a second fiddle, even if it was very brief. I also just could not beat this run back in the day, there were times where I certainly tried but I could just never do it because this category was just so difficult and frankly garbage.

The game has changed a ton since then with the current Any% WR being 20 minutes faster and a lot more optimised. The game is near unrecognisable to me now but I will continue to keep my memory of running this game in the mid-late 2010s.
