So, after flying through space and kicking Robotic Pirate but along the way (as you do), we finally make it to the next planet, Jasindu. When we arrive, we find out that the Pirates have somehow got here faster than we did and have already started attacking the world in search for the Device. Now, any good hero would immediately rush off to help/save the people who are being attacked by the Robotic Pirates but I accidentally activated an elevator and found myself inside some kind of cave that requires me to use my Gelatonium Weapon. I kind of stumbled upon the underground factory by complete accident and found a rather cool item. I think there was something like this in the previous game but it allows us to do break boxes in an AOE when we do an overhead swing. That, however, is not the cool new weapons/tool that I’m referring to in the title of the video. That would be referring to the new melee weapons they’ve added to this game. Now, I can’t say very confidently but, I’m fairly sure that this is the first time they have had melee weapons outside of the wrench which is very interesting. The closest thing I could think of was the whip (since it’s “Ammo” was based on how many times you swung the weapon which is very similar to these blades) but there is already a version of the Whip that we’ve already collected. As of writing this, I have completed the game and I think there was now Sniper (or a weapon that had a scope on it) so I’m wondering if I either a) didn’t find the sniper rifle or b) they replaced the sniper with these melee weapons (or, you know, they just didn’t put the sniper in the game and I should dismantle my conspiracy board). I actually like these blades because the Wrench felt a little weak to me (referring to the arena challenge in which we had to use it) so I don’t mind these melee weapons. They also look pretty cool, especially when you increase the damage after a few attacks (it took me a while to realize that) so that is a plus.
