This video was captured using the actual game on an actual Sony Playstation 2. All loading times have been removed for your consideration and enjoyment.

Finally. Somebody has some real gameplay of this game on You Tube. That somebody is me. I don't know whether it's because this game is not well known or if it's that the majority thought the game sucked because of the game's insane learning curve and difficulty. Either way, this game deserves the spotlight I'm giving it today, because it is truly an underrated gem.

I'd like to start of by saying this game is hard. Very very hard. Not hard as in a bullet hell shootem' up where you must memorize enemy patterns and find the safe spots. No no no. Way harder than that. Hard as in learning how to play an instrument hard. Muscle memory. Practice. Lots and lots of practice. Where everyday is a progression of getting just a little bit better. Why is this game so hard? Because flying a real remote control helicopter is extremely hard to master. This game is the closest thing to a hardcore simulator for flying a real R/C helicopter.

I'm not a huge fan of games that are so hard that they almost seem impossible, but this game is the only exception. Why? Because it was so well designed and your trainer is absolutely hilarious. When you screw up, and you will, the trainer is always there to put a light spin on your failure. It is in fact the only game of it's kind. Do not be fooled by another Playstation title called R/C Helicopter. It is nowhere near the game this is. R/C Helicopter is actually quite a poor game. It is also much easier. R/C Stunt Copter is not for the faint of heart. You will suck the first time you pick it up, and after hours and hours of practice there is a slight chance that you might suck a little bit less than before.

This video here shows the beginning of the game. You must complete the training mode before you go on to the actual game. If you score gold on every training session then you will unlock the use of the "Ace" R/C helicopters which are much more agile than the other copters and are capable of inverted flight. The training here speaks for itself. However training is a cake walk compared to the actual game. Be sure to check out the second video which shows full gameplay and a reel of all my mistakes.
