0In this video I go through both versions of the intro movie, the improved one first and the original later, all in the new ffmpeg based video player featured in the latest update of the DLL.
I had quite a hard time readapting fanplayer to do what I needed, but I found a workaround for one specific case show here: the intro for Jill plays the same file as Chris', but it cuts prematurely and then skips forward to the cast segment. The issue was that fanplayer has no way whatsoever to a point in the video where to cut, so it took me a while to figure out how to do it in its convoluted thread approach. After many tries, I found a way to fool the player into sending an end signal that lasts for 30 frames, which worked out perfectly for what I needed, and there was much rejoicing.
