RE2 Remake (Pt 12): Neo Decides to Get More Serious, Then Later Meets FBI Agent "Ada"
[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Neosekken's had enough with the absolutely embarrassing amount of idiocy he feels he's displayed throughout RE2 Remake up till this point. Countless instances of approaching various situations with absolute recklessness or over cautiousness (if that counts as proper English) both have caused Neo no shortage of headaches, as they typically result in him either getting his ass handed to him by anything that moves, or getting himself killed outright by these moving piles of rotting flesh and rampant plant life. Having a 7-foot-tall super zombie thrust his knuckles into the back of Neo's face at the end of the last episode was the last straw, and now Neo has decided to start being LESS of an idiot and try going out of his way to analyze some of his enemies and use whatever he learns to come up with new strategies that will make his second journey through the RPD and beyond a little less of a hassle. To that end he tries studying Mr.X's attack patterns/animations as well as how durable he is. He also attempts to find ways to incapacitate zombies using as little ammunition as possible so even if he doesn't kill them he can at least render them mostly harmless. Neo's experiments gives him crucial information on both of these different threats, and once he decides he's learned as much as he could he resumes his search throughout the RPD for the medallions he needs to open up the Goddess statue (again).
Using the knowledge he's recently acquired about the zombies and Mr. X as well as his knowledge of the RPD's layout from Claire's route to his advantage, Neo is able to quickly get his hands on the medallions, and so promptly uses them to open the hidden path underneath the Goddess statue and makes his way to the Underground Facility. It is here that he finds himself face to face with William Birkin once again, although he seems to have the same level of mutations that he had when Neo fought him as Claire. Neo is more heavily armed this time around, and is able to make relatively short work of William as a result. A ladder that allows him to escape the arena Neo found himself trapped in with Birkin suddenly lowers, but Neo doesn't see anyone that could've lowered it, suggesting that Leon is being watched from afar.
Neo finds himself in the B1 parking lot of the RPD soon after, and it is here that he meets a mysterious woman in a trench coat, who introduces herself as an FBI agent. Leon attempts to get information from her on what's going on, but she isn't forthcoming in the slightest. She leaves the parking lot, but Neo and Leon attempt to give chase, and they find themselves in the holding block of the RPD. But rather than find Ada, Neo and Leon instead find a fellow human in a called "Ben". A conversation between the two ensues, although it is cut short in the most brutal fashion possible, leaving Leon to deal with the aftermath. The FBI agent appears again shortly after, and reveals that Ben was her informant and a crucial asset to her investigation, and when Leon once again tries to question her she keeps silent, although this time she gives Leon her name after Leon gave her his, that being "Ada". Ada tells Leon to find a way out of the RPD before its too late, before leaving him on his own once again. Neo and Leon then decide to take Ben up on an offer he made during their conversation...
