RE2 Remake (Pt 11): Neo Begins Leon's Route - And More Avoidable Struggles Ensue

With Claire's A Route under his belt, Neo feels a bit confident that he'll likely be able to get through Leon's "2nd Run" campaign (or "B route", as Neo prefers to call it) without going through as much trouble he did with Claire's starting out. In fact, as soon as he starts Leon's route, he watches as the opening speeds on through until he finds himself outside the RPD as Leon, which Neo thinks is an indication that Leon's 2nd run might end up being shorter than Claire's route, although time will tell if that turns out to be true.
Leon briefly runs into Claire shortly after arriving at the RPD, before the exploding helicopter forces the two to split up and flee. Neo then proceeds to enter the RPD and begins exploring the building, excited to see some new areas he was unable to explore as Claire. But after Neo gets through these new areas, he quickly notices that every single one of the RPD's puzzles he solved as Claire was not only undone, but a couple combinations for some safes might've changed, meaning that Neo will have to open up the entire RPD again as he explores - something Neo can't help but express some mild disappointment over. Although this is FAR from the most pressing matter on his mind - it turns out that Mr.X is ALREADY in the RPD, and before Neo knows it he runs into the sharply-dressed giant directly, making Neo realize that his second run through the RPD won't be as easy as he had hoped.
But most frustrating of all is Neo making lots of mistakes he felt he could've easily avoided making, thus making his situation even worse than it needed to be - and Mr. X is quite happy to take advantage of a particularly stupid mistake he makes at the very end. *SPOILER ALERT* Neo didn't heal when he had the chance. It costed him dearly. It made Neo very sad.
