Ib (Pt 1): Strange Things Begin Occurring When Neo Visits an Art Exhibit With His Parents
8[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Ib is a young girl who finds herself being taken to an art exhibit for a deceased artist called "Guertena Weiss", whose works are both so numerous and of considerable quality that an entire museum was dedicated to the exhibit itself. Ib's mother gives Ib permission to explore the exhibit and look at the various art pieces at her leisure, and it is at this moment that Neosekken gains control, then proceeds to do exactly as Ib's mother suggested. Many of the works are comprised of both various paintings as well as numerous statues and other similar pieces depicting figures often of a bizarre sort. If nothing else, all the pieces tell Neo that the artist is both no amateur and seems to like to create mostly abstract designs. Ib's limited reading ability makes it difficult to get an idea on what most of the pieces are actually supposed to depict, however, leading Neo to do more guess work on what the names are than actually examining the pieces themselves.
When Neo finds himself examining a large painting depicting some kind of world ("??? World"), however, everything suddenly goes quiet, and the whole exhibit darkens. He quickly finds himself all alone in the exhibit, with no signs of life anywhere except for himself - unless one counts the constant sound of footsteps starts hearing around this time. To make matters even more strange, Neo finds mysterious writing appearing on the walls that beckon Ib to go to a certain location downstairs, and while Neo is reluctant to go at first he soon relents once it becomes obvious he has nowhere else he can go. He finds a painting on the floor suddenly open for him to walk over, but as soon as he does so he's seemingly transported to a very different location, one that happens to resemble a surreal art exhibit that seems to feature Guertena's works. Neo has no idea what rabbit hole he's found himself in, but knowing that just standing around thinking it over won't get him anywhere he decides to start exploring his new location for any signs of human life, hoping to find any clues that could answer the questions of how he got there to how exactly he's going to get out.
Eventually he does find human life, in the form of a man called Garry, who Neo rescues and has accompany him through the strange exhibit. Neo isn't sure how reliable or trustworthy he is, though...
