F-22 Interceptor Advanced Tactical Fighter is a 3D combat flight simulator for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive released in 1991. While the graphics may look funny today we must remember this is a full 3D simulator running on stock Sega 16-bit hardware with no help from in-cart co-processors like the Super FX chip or Sega Virtua Processor (SVP) found in the likes of Star Fox for SNES (released 2 years later in 1993) or Sega's own Virtua Racing on Genesis (released in 1994)

These are early real-time 3D graphics usually only found on PC and make for one of the most in-depth and possibly best combat flight simulators released on the 16-bit home consoles!
