Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko gave an alarming update about the hand fracture that left Daniel Ricciardo out of the Dutch Grand Prix. Ricciardo crashed at Turn 3 in his second free practice session and suffered a metacarpal fracture in his left hand. The Australian driver had a successful surgery in Barcelona on Sunday, but Marko says the breakout is more complex than the team first thought. "Unfortunately, the fracture is complex. It's not a straight fracture," Sky Sports told Germany. Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner has previously stated that Ricciardo is likely aiming to return to the Singapore Grand Prix. But Marko says this is no longer an unlikely scenario. "The AlphaTauri driver will most likely miss the next two races in Italy and Singapore. "We're going to get confirmation from doctor, but for the next two races situation looks bad."
