RED DEAD ONLINE - LINUX [Steam Play Proton] - Gameplay
Red Dead Redemption 2 Online / Red Dead Online with Steam Play Proton (5.13 experimental), the Linux compatibility layer from Valve.
The online game is compatible with Linux using Steam Play Proton 5.13 versions above 5.13-4 !
Red Dead Redemption 2 settings for stable FPS on a GTX 970 (+/- Xbox One X graphics settings)
Please note that the game is rendered at 90% (1821x1024) with custom settings for a "mostly" 45-60fps experience on a GTX 970.
The game is running on a I7 3770 + GTX 970 (see "PC CONFIGURATION" and
"GRAPHIC SETTINGS" below for details).
Note that this video is recorded with a cheap capture card .. The video image is not the highest quality but there is no frame loss during recording.

Played on a SSD: recommended to limit frame drops.
TWEAKS
- Disable the compositor .. in KDE you can do that with SHIFT + ALT + F12
- In Nvidia control panel disable opengl settings : put "Allow Flipping" to disabled
