Well, not really, but running up to your shooters and hogtying them is a surprisingly viable strategy in this game thanks to the fact that you become invincible (and enemies lose interest in you) while in the animation. It's a nice approach if you want to play as a pacifist... "I thought you were a killer?"

You have a few worries, though. If your target gets shot and dies before you get to hogtie him, your lasso attempt fizzles. This means that you are not able to heal yourself with the hogtie animation and can be in danger. Another thing is that on uneven ground, it can be quite hard to get the hogtie prompt to appear. Third bad thing about lasso is that if you miss, Marston has to take a few seconds to reel up the lasso again before you can make another attack. Fourth thing... the range of your attack is not that good, and you can't even lasso things that are much higher or lower than you.

This playing style would explain why Marston has so many scars... In the end there's a funny blooper clip wherein I panicked.
