Redout 2 - Neumann's Outpost (F) 2:02.742
20This is my first RO2 hotlap with Asera. That should tell you all you need to know about the current state of the ship. I am also a diehard, however, so here comes a lap driven in pure anger, the last one of a lengthy and frustrating session.
Neumann's is a very involved track, as it should be with a runtime of TWO MINUTES. Breaking out onto the ice at first is satisfying, and also gives the first major optimization of the lap. Turn in hard, and use normal boost to help your trajectory so it crosses the boost pad AND sends you in the right direction towards the grippier road.
The bend at the end of the triple jump is a pain in the ass to anticipate. Enable overdrive as early as possible, and do not feel compelled to go too hard into that bend. The next catch is immediately afterwards - tip the craft down if you're going too fast, which should be every time you're doing a hot lap here. With the jump that follows that, simply rolling should suffice. Land on a flat piece of road for the best chance of getting Perfect Landings and that all important speed boost.
The rest of the lap is fairly self explanatory. Genesis as a whole goes hard, and I've driven this GP2 ship to its absolute limits in appreciation for the complex.
