A super efficient way to get damaged and worn out kit repaired ready for battle on the frontline in Afghanistan is saving the Ministry of Defence millions of pounds a week.

British Forces News cameras have been given exclusive access to an area of Camp Bastion where workshops and mechanics have cut out the expense and time of having to return equipment to the UK.

The workforce is set to double next month.
