Road Rash was such a funky blend of sound, visuals and art, and it would become one of my most beloved Genesis franchises.

Episode Notes:

1. Gameplay captured via the Mega SG at 1080p.

2. I still own all my original copies of the 16-bit Road Rash series.

3. The Sega CD got a hybrid of the 16-bit Road Rash games you see here, and the 32-bit version first released on the 3DO.

4. I always liked the content of Road Rash 3, but felt it looked significantly worse than the first 2 games.

5. Road Rash is still quite affordable on the Genesis. I've seen complete copies in good shape go for as little as $15.

6. The SMS version, which was only released in PAL territories and Brazil, tends to go for much more.
