RESIDENT EVIL 2 バイオハザード2 is a 2019 survival horror game developed & published by Capcom. Directed by Kazunori Kadoi, Yasuhiro Anpo & Ken Ohara. It is a remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2

Leon S. Kennedy & Claire Redfield attempt to escape from Raccoon City during a zombie apocalypse. These events take place on September 29, 1998, two months after the events of Resident Evil.

This is a story driven walkthough, played on HARDCORE mode with no commentary. PS4, 1920x1080p, 60fps.

My Review of RESIDENT EVIL 2: Great, 8.7/10

This is the best athmospheric 3rd person survival shooter out there. Great graphics & use of shadows, sound design subtle but excellent. The gameplay is just fantastic! : being able the shoot every parts of the anatomy of a living corpse; it's a more realistic upgrade of Dead Space, very gory! The zombies are extremely robust & never quit chasing you, even without most of their limbs missing. It's a very dark environment at times! Claire campaign, scenario b is too similar to Leon campaign, emphazing the repetitiveness of the game; by extension, the running time of the game is too short. Lack of exposition of Claire in the cinematic cutscene at the beginning. Not the greatest story here, but entertaining.

I never played the original RE2, but saw the different walkthrough of the game; the soundtrack was great!

Good job!

RESIDENT EVIL 2 is a great game & fun to play! I'm still waiting for a 3rd person open world RESIDENT EVIL game, one day someone will get it right.
