The outlet reports that several scenes in the game will change dramatically from the original, with a "decent portion of the game" reportedly taking place at night, which may include the early scene where Leon fights off hordes of infected in a village.
While Resident Evil 4 is known for taking a more action-focused approach with less emphasis on horror, Fanbyte's sources claim that the project will take a scarier approach, with the three early builds of Resident Evil 4 serving as inspiration for the rumored remake. The prototypes were more supernatural and horror-tinged than the final game.
