Resident Evil 5! Chris Is Juiced Up And Ready For Survival Action, Coop - PC (Part 2 of 2)
2It's time for another big entry in the series with Resident Evil 5. The previous game was such a massive hit that it changed RE games forever. This time Capcom cranked it up by adding full coop not only to the main campaign but also the bonus DLC. The gameplay has been streamlined quite a bit by this point with a new shop system at the start of every mission allowing you to trade, sell and buy weapons. If you play the game solo you're forced to play with an AI partner which might be a hassle since you must venture together through each section. I found the first half of the game very enjoyable playing with a friend, including some interesting boss fights. I think the main drawback is there is little to no horror anymore and we're entering full on action. Puzzles elements are all but gone and you can see the series start to lose it's original identity. I also wish the weapons were more interesting with benefits such as perks when you fully upgrade them. Once the enemies carry guns it also starts to limit what you can use.
