Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017)(PS4) Playthrough - Banned Footage: Daughters
Playthrough of Banned Footage: Daughters.
Daughters is one of contents included in Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. It tells how the Baker family is turned twisted by Eveline. You'll play as Zoe Baker.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is released in January 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. As of this video, Resident Evil 8: Village has been released this month. I decided to revisit this solid entry to the RE series. To me RE 7 is challenging, Ethan moves slowly especially moving backward, or sideways. The 1st person perspective also gave narrower view compared to the over-the-shoulder view used in RE 3 Remake. Enemies will move fast and they can inflict a lot of damage. There are multiple times they will ambush and/or surround you in tight spaces. Bosses are tough and can take Ethan out in a single hit. You can block or fight back to reduce receiving damage, one or two mistake can cost a lot of healing items (which also takes some time to use). There are times that the game can be a bit imbalance and frustrating. Overall, I like how the developer decided go back to its root of survival-horror by limiting ammunition, use the right strategy for enemy encounter, finding key and solve puzzles to progress.
