Retro Cleaning - Mace: The Dark Age
In this video I'll be cleaning a game released by Atari in 1997 for arcade machines and later ported to the Nintendo 64 by Midway Games.
Mace: The Dark Age is a fighting game with blood, acid pits, and a hidden boss character that by inputting a certain button combination you can unlock. It's pretty similar to Tekken or the early 3D Mortal Kombat games like Mortal Kombat 64/Mortal Kombat Gold, or Virtua Fighter.
I used Goo Gone to get rid of the adhesive residue and isopropyl alcohol to try and clear the dirt and grime.
Unfortunately I cleaned too much over the label and it got faded out so I'll have to get a photo printer and print new labels for future projects. All this can be learned from Nintendrew's video linked below.
